While many of us have never questioned if we would have a roof over our head or food on our table, that is not true for everyone in our community.
BCC and Shrine have partnered to sever the homeless in South Oakland County for over three decades.  Our volunteers will serve at the shelter (located at 13 Mile & Crooks Road in Royal Oak) from the evening of February 2nd to the morning of February 15th.

There are many ways to serve.  Please connect with Roland Barger at the Welcome Hub for more information.
Volunteers are encouraged to be compassionate and engaging, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Volunteers may assist with serving meals, organizing activities, and providing support as needed. Your dedication and efforts make a significant difference in the lives of those we serve.   This year as we are hosting the overnight shelter at the same location as the SOCH (South Oakland Citizens for the Homeless) Welcome Inn, we will not require all the positions that we needed in the past.
