South Oakland Warming Center

The warming center is a partnership of eleven local churches that come together every winter for the sole purpose of preventing people from freezing to death on the streets. Host churches provide a hot meal, a warm safe place to sleep, breakfast and a sack lunch for any adult in need of a place to stay.

Feb 12 - Feb 25

Berkley Community Church and National Shrine of the Little Flower Roman Catholic Church are hosting the warming center at Berkley Community Church from the evening of February 12 to the morning of February 25.  We hope to provide a safe, warm, welcoming environment for those who enter the doors during these winter months.  The warming center is looking for your help to make sure that we have enough volunteers for each of the nights that we will be open and that we have enough food and supplies for each of the days as well.
